A claim is produced by several people at once: the finance team that captures the costs, the engineers and scientists who describe the work, the leaders who sign, and sometimes an advisor. When they learn separately they learn different vocabularies. Team training puts the people who share one claim through the same material, in the combination that fits the company or practice, with the country track for where they claim.
Training for a team
Team training is assembled from the programs on this site rather than written from scratch, so the content is checked against the same official sources as the country guides. The usual combinations:
| Team | Built from | Typical goal |
|---|---|---|
| Finance and tax team running the claim in-house | In-House Finance Team Program with your country track | Cost capture, apportionment, calculation and filing that stand up to review, with less reliance on an external preparer |
| Engineering, product or scientific staff | Technical Teams Program, with the industry examples for your sector | Technical leads who can identify uncertainty, keep records as they work and write the narrative themselves |
| Finance and technical teams together | The finance program's module on working with technical teams, plus the technical program | One project list, one set of project names, and narratives written with the people who did the work |
| Board, CFO or founders | Leadership Briefing | Owners for the claim, a governance routine and a basis for judging advisor proposals |
| Early-stage company | Startups and Scale-ups with your country track | A decision on whether to claim, records set up from the start and a plan for the first claim |
| Accounting or advisory practice | Advisor and Practitioner Program with the tracks for the countries you practise in | A consistent method across the practice, from eligibility analysis to review response and engagement terms |
| Group claiming in more than one country | The relevant program with two or more country tracks | One method applied under each country's rules, with the differences made explicit |
What to tell us
The more of this you can give us, the better we can match the material to the team:
- Which of the seven countries you claim in, or expect to.
- Who needs to learn: roles and roughly how many people in each.
- Where the team is today: first claim, established claimant, or recovering from a review.
- What prompted the enquiry: a new scheme rule, a change of advisor, bringing the claim in-house, a review, growth into a new country.
- Whether the whole team should cover the same material or each role its own program.
We will reply by email to discuss the combination of programs and tracks that fits. We do not publish schedules or prices on this site, and we make no claims about formats, assessments or certificates; what we provide is the material itself and a conversation about how your team should use it.
What team training does not change
- It is educational material, not advice on your claim. See the disclaimer.
- Facts stay tied to official sources; nothing is tailored in a way that departs from them.
- It does not replace the technical judgement of your own staff or the responsibility of the company for its return.
